Praise the Lord and pass the football. That has been the winning game plan at Evangel Christian Academy. Affiliated with the First Assembly of God church, this coed private school in northwest Louisiana has been fielding varsity high school football teams for 18 seasons. Ten have ended with a state championship. Six of the past seven have ended with a place in USA TODAY's final Super 25 national rankings.
